industry, to apply About the Opportunity Marketing & Digital
Marketing Intern David Zwirner seeks a highly organized and
proactive Marketing & Digital Marketing Intern to support campaign
execution, reporting, and cross-departmental marketing initiatives.
This role works closely with the Marketing Assistant and Senior
Paid Media Manager and offers hands-on exposure to the full
lifecycle of gallery marketing campaigns—from planning and launch
through analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate is
detail-oriented, curious about data and digital platforms, and
comfortable taking ownership of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical
marketing skills while gaining insight into how campaigns support
artist visibility, gallery programming, and sales engagement. This
role is best suited to someone who takes initiative and is
comfortable working independently once given direction. What you’ll
do: Collaborate with Design, Events, Content, Press, and global
Marketing teams to support campaign execution across multiple
channels. Provide event support, including RSVP tracking,
invitation management, and on-site assistance, interacting
professionally with clients and VIP guests. Organize and maintain
marketing materials archives, ensuring that files and assets are
clearly documented and easily accessible. Assist with digital
marketing initiatives, including SEO, third-party platforms (such
as Artsy), email marketing, and paid media campaigns. Gain
experience using analytics and advertising platforms (Meta, Google)
to monitor campaign performance and identify trends. Compile
campaign performance data and assist in building reporting decks
that summarize results and insights. Attend weekly meetings with
marketing partners and contribute updates or notes as needed.
Coordinate client book mailings and gifting programs to ensure
accurate tracking and organization. Draft design tickets for
marketing materials such as signage and digital ads, clearly
communicating project needs and timelines. Maintain accurate
database entry and support client reporting tasks, demonstrating
strong attention to detail when working with sensitive information.
Lead one independent research project focused on areas such as
market research, competitive analysis, web or gallery traffic
patterns, or vendor evaluation. What we would like you to have: A
strong interest in the contemporary art world Comfort working with
data in tools such as Google Sheets or dashboards in a data-driven
environment. Experience creating recap decks or summarizing complex
information into clear slides. A proactive mindset—comfortable
seeking out tasks, asking questions, and taking ownership of work.
Strong attention to detail and organization. Confidence in
interacting professionally at public events and in client-facing
environments. The Summer internship runs from June to early August.
Hours are 10AM – 6PM, 3-5 days a week. Preference will be given to
applicants who can work 5 days a week. To ensure that our interns
have a well-rounded and educational experience, we ask for a
commitment of approximately 3 months. All interns are paid NYC
minimum wage of $17/hour. All candidates must be residents of NY,
NJ, or CT. No lodging or commuting expenses will be provided.
