Aircraft Group Supply Chain Project Lead The Supply Chain
Project Lead (SCPL) is an integral member of the global Supply
Chain Project Management Office (PMO), that represents a major
geographical Supply Chain region (i.e. Americas, Asia-Pacific or
Europe). Based on significant Supply Chain knowledge and
experience, the SCPL has a significant influence in developing and
implementing Supply Chain methods and best practices throughout the
designated geographical Supply Chain region. The Supply Chain
Project Lead will initially be focused on the management of a
number of organizational projects as well as the incremental
development of the Existing Supplier portal. Over time the
organizational projects will be completed and the be replaced with
a much larger project to implement a brand new supplier portal.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Integral member of the Global Supply Chain PMO, responsible for
the development, implementation, governance and continuous
improvement of standard end to end Supply Chain methods and
processes that are compliant with government, regulatory and
- Primary PMO point of contact for Supply Chain staff located in
the designated Supply Chain region. i.e. Americas, Asia-Pacific or
Europe, to support continuous improvement in Supply Chain
- Leads global and/or regional Supply Chain projects, that
include the coordination of internal and/or external resources to
deliver projects on-time, and within scope and budget.
- Projects typically must be coordinated with supplier partners
and/or Supply Chain staff located in different countries and time
- Provides method/process/tool training and support to Supply
Chain staff located throughout the designated geographical Supply
Chain region. Examples include Supplier Portal, PO management tools
- Monitors Supply Chain performance within the designated region
to identify, define and drive continuous improvement activity to
improve business performance. Examples include Supply Chain
planning and Inventory reduction improvements. The identification,
effective communication and engagement of key stakeholders at all
levels of the business is a critical success factor.
- Represents the Supply Chain PMO during customer and regulatory
authority meetings, assessments and audits. Qualifications:
- At least 5 years' experience in a relevant Supply Chain or
Program Management role.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or
Business. An Advanced (graduate level) degree in Engineering or
Business is a plus.
- Relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience of Lean
principles and continuous improvement.
- Proven capability and experience of working collaboratively in
a multicultural geographically dispersed environment.
- Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills and
- Required to work with a high degree of ambiguity and fluidity,
and with remote internal stakeholders based in different time

systems and processes/value streams.
