We are seeking warehouse associates at our warehouse in Swedesboro, NJ. You would be responsible to unload all inbound trailers. Remove all white bakery trays from bakery cans. Clean out any trash in bottom of bakery cans. Stack all trays according to tray type (example all bagel trays together and all pretzel trays together). Stack bakery cans for next day picking. Load all empties onto trailers to be returned to proper customer. Clean floor of any debris. Empty trash cans, remove any cardboard. There are two schedules available: Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday from 12am-8:30am (overnight shift). The starting pay rate is $15.00/hour plus a $0.50 shift differential for night shift. Major Responsibilities: -Accurately stage and sort products for loading -Loads and unloads trailers -Maintain a clean and safe work area -Sorts and places items in designated areas -Move materials within the warehouse -Complies with all safety requirements -Quality control -Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received -Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information Qualifications: -Previous warehouse experience preferred -High school diploma or equivalent preferred -Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required -Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required -Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required (where applicable by location) -Flexible to work overtime preferred -Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job -Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
