Position Overview: Macy's Media Network launched in 2020 with a mission to connect brands to consumers through data-driven marketing solutions. With more than 40M active customers annually, more than 500 stores, and one of the largest e-commerce platforms in the US, Macy's is uniquely positioned to become a premier destination for fashion brands seeking to reach relevant audiences with personalized content with media running on both Macys.com and Bloomingdales.com.
As Digital Production Designer for Macy's Media Network, you'll support the MMM Design Manager through creative oversight of advertisers' assets in a broad range of media types. You'll serve as a creative consultant facilitating the quick review of campaign communications, balancing speed with accuracy. You'll ensure that standards and technical requirements are met while keeping the Macy's or Bloomingdale's customer experience at the center of all considerations.
Essential Functions:
- Reviews and approves a high volume of vendor-paid creative assets to ensure compliance with creative style guide and technical requirements. - Work with account managers to communicate creative requirements and technical specs to advertisers. - Resolve non-compliant issues quickly through collaboration, iteration and win-win compromise. - Provide additional support to clients by updating approved content for additional media placements. - Delivers final assets to the ad operations team for campaign setup and provides summary link of assets released for various partners. - Oversees a broad spectrum of assets for multiple media types including, but not limited to: - On-site display advertising - Banners, Rich Media, Video. - Off-site advertising - Social, Programmatic Display/Video. - Billing statement inserts (working closely with Credit team). - Package inserts (working closely with Media team). - HSQ Jumbotron and in-store screens. - Email banners.
Experience Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience in digital production design within an advertising communications environment - Strong command of all media types - Retail experience preferred - Excellent communication skills - Strong analytical, problem-solving and improvisational skills - Exceptional organizational, planning and prioritization skills; able to manage a large workload with fast turnaround - Proactive, team player who works well independently - Strong attention to detail and follow through - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud & Microsoft Office
