For more information, please visit . ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Project Management - Senior Consultant to join one of the largest engagements on our public sector financial services team. The ideal candidate demonstrates a passion and propensity for project management. This role requires attention to detail, a high level of organization, analytic thinking, strong communication skills, and flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities include: --- Structuring creative approaches to solve discrete problems --- Utilizing flexibility and collaboration to prioritize and complete consultative tasks--- Employing strong written and verbal communication skills--- Developing quantitative and qualitative reports and briefings in layman's terms quickly--- Supporting process standardization--- Identifying opportunities to improve project management office (PMO) efficiency, effectiveness, and quality--- Proactively offering value-added recommendations to achieve strategic objectives--- Building strong relationships with federal clients--- Aligning project portfolio with business strategies, target architecture, and budget--- Providing effective risk management at the portfolio, program, and project levels--- Keeping current in advances in tools and techniques to share with team members QualificationsRequired:--- Bachelor's degree--- 1-2 years of full-time professional experience working on projects in a large organization--- Strong organization and self-management skills, willing to take initiative and follow through--- Strong experience in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc)--- Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities--- Willingness and ability to train and desire to lead--- Willingness and ability to understand, track, and report progress on technical systems and applications--- Experience interacting and working with operational groups across the organization--- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills--- Ability to assist client personnel and staff in short- and long-term planning efforts, team planning discussions, prioritization and assisting in daily standupsPreferred: ---- Industry standard project management certifications (PMP, CSM, etc). --- Familiarity or experience with Agile methodology --- Master's degree in Business, Policy, or Government Additional Requirements

  • This position is available virtually from PST, CST or EST time zones.
    • Strong preference will be given to candidates local to New York, NY, or Washington, DC.
    • Quarterly travel to New York, NY, and Washington, DC, will be required for virtual candidates.
    • Due to our contractual requirements, to be eligible for this role, you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated at time of hire.
