Job Description:

Overview Data and Platform Solutions (formerly Data and Analytic Solutions/Eagle Investment Systems LLC) is currently seeking a mid-level technical Infrastructure and cloud focused Project Manager with strong written and verbal communication skills to join our growing team. The ideal candidate would be highly organized and have the proven ability to manage global strategic projects with multiple internal and client technical and business organizations. Strong interpersonal skills are needed along with a deadline driven mindset to successfully achieve results under strict time frames utilizing resources in various departments throughout the organization. This resource should be self-motivated with the proven ability to drive project deliverables from start to completion. More specifically, this resource will be working closely with business partners throughout the organization such as IT, Eagle ACCESS and Research and Development (R&D) in the definition, prioritization and implementation of projects impacting global clients. Must be able to thoroughly explain and communicate project issues and recommend actions both verbally and in written form providing necessary substance when needed. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project solicitation, selection, prioritization, implementation, and monitoring of infrastructure and cloud-based projects
• Deploy and operationalize global strategic initiatives
• Communicate and manage project stakeholders and senior management expectations
• Communicate and manage global client's stakeholders and engineer's expectations
• Monitor progress against the project plans.
• Manage risk and any issues as they arise.
• Drive the execution of the team to meet milestones and deliverables with quality.
• Provide direction and support to the project teams.
• Manage issues escalated from the client and internal teams
• Ensure appropriate project artifacts are created and stored.
• Track and organize project deadlines, goals and information and ensuring this information is accurate and up to date. Required Skills and Experience: Minimum experience, skills, certification, and academic background necessary to perform the position include:
  • 5+ years managing large database, networking, infrastructure, datacenter and/or cloud migrations
  • 5+ years of global strategic technology project or program management working cross-functionally in a highly integrated team composed of both client and internal, technical, and non-technical members.
  • 5+ years of global managing projects in the financial services or information technology industry and/or in the infrastructure or cloud arenas.
  • Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Agile Project management skills, leadership capabilities, and a strong sense of teamwork in the development, articulation, and delivery of strategic client initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability as both a strategic thinker and a hands-on achiever.
  • Ability to facilitate communication across lines of business within an organization.
  • Ability to work individually and within a team in whatever capacity may be required to insure timely delivery of timeline assignments and/or resolution to current issues.
  • Ability to manage multi-faceted projects in a dynamic fast paced changing environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, BS/BA degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent/relevant work experience. Desired Skills and Experience:
    • 2+ years working with cloud technologies
    • ITIL Foundation Certification preferable. Affiliation with PMI and/or PMP certification also a plus but not required.
    • Agile Scrum methodology
    • Knowledge of ServiceNow
    • Knowledge of Jira
    • Knowledge of confluence
    • The ideal candidate would be passionate and be able to provide ample and relevant substance when issues occur, or deliverables/time frames change. Bachelor's degree in computer science or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience required 4-5 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. Ensures these needs are taken into account when developing infrastructure.Evaluates the organization's existing infrastructure technology and researches and analyzes trends. Implements changes to the infrastructure technology that enhance its reliability and efficiency.Performs basic production support tasksIdentifies opprotunites for process improvement and automation.Contributes to the achievement of area objectives
