Amuneal is growing our New York Showroom Sales + Design Team based in the New York Design Center at 200 Lex.
We are seeking creative, detail-oriented, quick-learning individuals with robust design and fabrication experience to become trained Amuneal experts. The right candidate will be comfortable facilitating complex design details discussions with Interior Designers, Architects and even Contractors. This addition to our team may identify as a designer, entrepreneur, architect, maker or creative salesperson, but in any case, must be willing to learn the in's and outs of Amuneal's design language, fabrication capabilities, and history in order to best represent the brand and develop bespoke made-to-order furniture and interior cabinetry installations.
Candidates must have a passion for design and quality work, some sales experience, ideally in high-end custom furniture design, cabinetry or fabrication, and proficiency conveying designs through hand-sketching and software. A Background in Interior Architecture, Custom Furniture Design, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Kitchen Design, Millwork Design or Furniture Procurement is highly beneficial.

In addition to representing Amuneal in person, you will develop and revise complex custom pricing and design proposals, document our scope of work through written proposals, advising on technical details and communicate design intent to our Philadelphia based Estimating, Engineering, Project Management, and Fabrication Teams.
There is some flexibility for area of focus in this role based on the experience, skill set, and the interests of the right candidate.

Comprehension of Basic Construction Principles : Blocking, wiring, field tolerances, logistics, etc.
Detail Oriented + Not Afraid of Math : The details are everything in our world--- candidates must appreciate the details not just in design but also in the elements required to provide our clients with accurate estimates, drawings and details.
Diligence : Dedication to stay on top of projects and push them forward to meet deadlines.
Self-motivation/Initiative : Take ownership of projects.
Time Management : Manage your own time and work under pressure on several simultaneous projects with a clear timeline of completion.
