apply!The RoleThe Inventory Associate will assist the Inventory
Manager in day-to-day operations as well as project management, in
an effort to improve workflows and increase overall work efficiency
of the HistoWiz team.Essential Job Functions
- Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers
- Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products and
consumable reagents
- Maintain digital inventory tracking system and assist in the
training of staff for inventory roles
- Performing quality checks on stored inventory and evaluate
inventory options across vendors
- Updating inventory tracking and maintaining inventory records
to share with management and other stakeholders
- Tracking costs and preparing critical data for decision making
around inventory strategy
- Providing general office support as needed for day-to-day
operations
- Development of job knowledge by participating in educational
opportunities, independent research, and maintaining personal
networksRequirements
- BA or BS in scientific, operations, or engineering related
field
- Experience in an administrative or similar role
- Excellent computer and technology proficiency
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and adjust to quickly-changing
priorities
- Experience working in a startup and/or biotechnology company
