Job Description Master Cutlery currently has several openings in our Secaucus, NJ warehouse. A Picker is responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of picking product from the warehouse shelves, sorting items and making sure all products on the order request are ready to be packed. Pickers are also responsible to insure all products on the order are free from damage, verified, counted and securely packaged for order shipment. Pickers also update inventory in our Warehouse Management System to reflect items picked & shipped. In this position, you will be measured by the percentage of line items you correctly pick and your efficiency. The hours for this positions are Monday - Friday from 9:30a - 6:30pm. Mandatory overtime is sometimes required. Responsibilities: Use voice headset and/ or RF device to pick orders. Carefully listen to instructions, pick item(s) from assigned bin locations, drop into tote(s) Verify the quantity and product being picked and/or packed is accurate Sort, consolidate and drop off products to assigned staging locations for packing Use RF handheld barcode scanner Ensure Quality Control Standards and Practices are occurring (recording errors, inspect for damage, correct shortages and wrong parts) Meet and exceed daily productivity and quality standards Responsible to help maintain cleanliness throughout Warehouse Lift up to 50 lbs. as part of the job function while using safe lifting requirements and stand for extended periods of time, lifting multiple pounds regularly Will be cross-trained in other areas in the warehouse as needed Must perform within the Company Safety Program and Polices Requirements: Previous experience/certification using a hi-lo, order selector or cherry picking machine Must be able to speak, read and write English Moderate computer and basic math skills are required Must be dependable and maintain an exemplary punctuality & attendance rate of 98% or better Master Cutlery offers medical, dental and vision insurance after 60 days.
