Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Ensure quality and consistency of, and properly stores, all deliveries. Interacts with fellow employees, and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality. Opportunity to grow within an established worldwide brand.

Duties and Responsibilities: including but not limited to

• Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Tao Group Hospitality Employee Handbook.
• Manages all incoming orders in a quick and efficient manner.
• Accurately follow specifications of purchase order.
• Uses several different computer applications to communicate, generate information, analyze data and place orders
• Inspects and receives all deliveries and ensures the accuracy of all orders including but not limited to:
• Receiving purchase orders, while checking for accurate quantity and price
• Weighing fish and meat to confirm accuracy of invoices
• Checking expiration dates of dairy and dry
• Reporting any and all inaccuracies to the Purchasing Dept.
• Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
• Communicates product needs to the purchaser and chefs.
• Completes daily paperwork including but not limited to: posting of all invoices into receiving and operation logs, chefs log, and service log
• Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members.Training Requirements:
  • Food Handling Certificate.Minimum Education and Qualifications:
    • Previous pastry experience preferred.
    • Experience in a high-volume culinary operation preferred.Physical Demands and Work Environment:
      • Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
      • Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
      • Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
      • Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
      • Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
      • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays.This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with the job.
