know:An employee in the Claims Analyst role will focus on handling
claims from inception through conclusion of higher exposure
Professional Liability matters, including School Leaders, Public
Officials, Employment Practices and multiple other industry
segments.
- Additional duties include investigation/evaluation of coverage,
litigation management and settlement negotiation.
- The Claims Analyst will also oversee evaluating liability and
assessing damages on claims tendered to multiple Errors & Omissions
policies, as well as establishing timely reserves.
- The candidate should expect to interface with insureds,
brokers, and counsel to resolve claims, while communicating with
underwriting and senior claims management as necessary.What we're
looking for:
- Claim background and/or law background a plus.
- Individual must have good written and verbal skills, strong
analytical abilities, and effective interpersonal and
organizational skills.What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.Juris Doctor and/or
multi-state adjuster licenses highly preferred.
- A proven track record of claims or litigation experience.
- Financial and/or cyber experience preferred.
- Proven ability to analyze policies of insurance and legal
documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).Compensation:The base
salary range for this position is $67,000 - $85,000 and the
position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of
