Job Description:

A unique R&D Technician opportunity where you get the chance to work with a successful chemical company in Union County, NJ!Description:--- Perform laboratory scale operations for bulk polymerization for the development of next generation DRA polymers and formulations --- Characterize physical properties of novel materials in our labs using viscometers, particle size analyzers, rheometers and other instruments--- Liaise with external service providers to ensure analytical and bench testing are delivered to a high-quality standard and against established timelines--- Accurately manage test results and technical information, interpret data, make recommendations and maintain comprehensive electronic laboratory notebook records--- Scale up newly developed DRA in pilot plant scale production--- Assist in the set-up of new laboratory apparatus--- Support quality control and equipment maintenance within the labSkills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Lab scale or pilot plant experience in chemicals/ petrochemicals related industry.
  • Knowledge of polymerization, emulsion, water-based dispersion, surfactant technology and experience in pipeline hydraulics
