Overview of Role
The Third-Party Relationship (TPR) Analyst will be part of the
global Procurement and TPR team, with a specialist focus on due
diligence. The team is responsible for the sourcing and onboarding
of third- parties across the Group. The TPR Analyst will work
closely with business sponsors, Procurement and external
third-party contacts to ensure that each third-party completes the
requisite onboarding and ongoing due diligence.
In this role, you will demonstrate an understanding of Third-Party
Relationship Management, and the risks that third-parties could
pose to the Group. You will be familiar with key details of the
TPRM lifecycle. You will also have a basic understanding of TPRM
tools, protocols and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Communicate due diligence requirements to the business sponsor
and relevant third-parties
- Answer general queries around how the due diligence and general
procurement process operates
- Conduct the full due diligence process for all relevant
third-parties:
- Perform the requisite screening checks utilizing a variety of
available systems
- Submit risk surveys to applicable third-parties for their
completion
- Assess results of all checks and survey responses
- Escalate key findings to the relevant internal teams for any
further investigation and final approval
- Identify any risks or non-compliance that could potentially
impact the firm
- Liaise with various internal business lines, e.g., business
sponsors and/or leads, subject matter experts, Legal, Compliance
and Finance
- Be comfortable reviewing and challenging justifications /
artifacts of the business owner and vendors
- Monitor and initiate periodic reviews of third-party due
diligence
- Maintain updates to key regulatory documentation
- Assist Procurement managers with the onboarding and offboarding
of third-parties where requested
Experience, Skills and Competencies Preferred
- 2 years of relevant vendor management experience
preferred
- Strong focus on excellent client service with the ability to
work calmly under pressure
- Proactive attitude and willingness to accept ownership of key
aspects of the onboarding and ongoing monitoring processes
- A team player who can seamlessly work cross-border with
Procurement managers across the U.S., the U.K., France and
Switzerland
- The ability to act with good judgement and common sense while
taking direction well
- Organized and autonomous, able to manage multiple projects at
the same time
- Analytically minded, able to visualize, conceptualize and solve
problems
- Excellent skills in internal and external relationship
management:
- Supplier management skills including ability to develop and
manage business driven supplier executive relationships
- Ability to develop relationships with senior leaders
- Confidence to influence business stakeholders to adopt improved
sourcing methods and process compliance
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
