LifeNet Health's success:The OPO Quality Systems Data Analyst
provides continuous monitoring of local donation activity data to
communicate operational analysis and trends and identify
opportunities for performance improvement. Oversees validation of
OPO data to ensure both the accuracy and the integrity of the data.
Provides in-house expertise and technical support to end-users on
database, record-keeping systems, and other analytic questions.
Prepares quantitative and other reports and data presentations for
internal and external audiences. Builds creative reports and
communication formats to drive work management and data
clean-up.What you'll do:
- Data Analytics: Provides guidance and recommendations for
ad-hoc and additional reports requested to ensure that data is
effectively used to drive decision-making. This may include
determining the intent of the report, the location(s) of the
requested data and then guidance on the type of report necessary to
ensure targeted audience will understand the output. Assists with
the development and distribution of ad-hoc reports using database
tools available, including TrueNorth and BI (Business Intelligence)
Document datasets and dataflows.
- Business Collaboration: Translates business requirements into
specifications that will be used to implement the required reports
and dashboards, created from multiple data sources using tools such
as MS Excel, Power BI, and/or other approved tools.
- Training:Trains users with varying degrees of knowledge to
effectively utilize the enterprise database systems, and on
data-driven decision-making. Completes ongoing assessments of
database user skill-levels and determines need for
support/training. Coordinates the design of solutions to complex
analytical questions. Documents deficiencies found on donor record
audit and notifies appropriate staff for required corrections to be
made. Verifies corrections of data when completed and escalates to
management as needed. Utilizes trend reports to identify
opportunities for improvement or additional training.
- Documentation: Performs data entry in TrueNorth and other OPO
LifeNet Health databases. Responsible to accurately document post
donor results and post donor information according to regulations.
What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):
- Bachelor's Degree(Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science,
Healthcare, or related field, preferred).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in quality assurance medical record
auditing; (2 years' health information management, utilization
review, and/or organ or tissue donation systems experience,
preferred).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in accessing and obtaining
information from electronic medical records.
- Minimum 2 years' experience performing analytics; creating
reports, metrics, and supporting dashboards.These would be nice too

- Ability to use electronic medical records and electronic
databases to enter and track information
- Strong demonstrated organizational skills
- Ability to perform routine tasks and demonstrate basic
