Ending violence against Women (EVAW) section is part of the Policy,
Programme and Intergovernmental Division at UN Women Headquarters
in New York. The section is responsible for a number of functions
including policy and technical advice and support to regional and
country offices on EVAW, supporting the normative work on EVAW at
the global level and developing and managing global level
programmes.The purpose of this consultancy is to support to the
ongoing work of UN Women's engagement on the Spotlight Initiative
as well as other gap areas in the section. The consultant will
report to the Policy and Programme Advisor on EVAW and will work in
close collaboration with the rest of the team members.
