NBCUniversal is looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Analyst Financial
Product . As a member of the Decision Sciences team, you will work
with a Data-as-a-Product mindset. - Analyzing and supporting data
across the underlying systems and technology stack that allows the
finance, billing, strategy, and revenue teams to fully leverage our
capabilities across the environment.
The successful candidate will need to be hands-on, agile delivery
focused, and comfortable working with senior and demanding
stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Responsible for analyzing
requirements with awareness of end-to-end data platform, associated
standard policies, compliances, security practices, and
technologies across the data ecosystem.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Work with cross functional teams to optimize delivery of financial
data through data pipelines to financial applications.
Analyze technology and facilitate discussions with Controllers and
key financial team members to bridge the gap between technology and
financial business functional needs.
Adopt and advocate for a data-as-a-product mindset and utilization
of data and advanced analytics to inform critical business
decisions for financial data.
Understand the financial product vision, both from a business and
data perspective.
Organize and work with the financial product backlog to optimize
delivery in alignment with stakeholders/business priorities.
Analyze data flows between multiple systems, with a strong
understanding of financial use cases.
Communicate key risks and issues and ensure they are escalated in a
timely manner.
Work closely with the delivery team; analyze requirements through
user stories to inform the scope and design for data solutions,
planning and be available for technical inquiries and support.
Work closely with the brands and stakeholders to understand new
requirements and the value they deliver to our Data Intelligence
teams. -
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including

$120,000
3+ years working with and exploiting financial data for analysis,
reporting, and effective use across systems.
3+ years' experience in a data related role (writing SQL queries,
familiarity with data pipelines, ETL, microservices and
analytics).
3+ years' experience working with financial stakeholders across the
functions of operational finance, controllership, and revenue
optimization.
Experience with SAP integrations and systems, highly desired.
Detail and results oriented, able to write specs and analyze data
to support product decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to
communicate and coordinate between teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to logically analyze
complex requirements, data sets, processes and systems.
Excellent organizational skills that enable structure and
prioritization effectively even in uncertain circumstances.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Desired Characteristics
Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, engineering,
finance, or accounting or equivalent experience highly desired.
Creative problem-solver; takes a high level of initiative, has a
strong sense of personal accountability to follow-through at all
times.
Demonstrates organizational savvy by successfully navigating
complex, highly matrixed and decentralized organization.
