Job Description:

STV currently has an opening in the New York field office for an -Construction Engineering Specialist -for our Transportation and Infrastructure division. Key responsibilities will include managing of construction inspection activities on construction projects, preparation and processing of progress payments, change orders, document control, meeting agendas and minutes and general administration of the project office. Preferred candidate(s) - should have experience with and working knowledge of MTA policies, procedures, and specifications. - Excellent written and verbal communication, organization and time management skills is necessary. - Expertise with computerized applications (Microsoft Excel, Document Control Software, etc.) are required. Required Skills:

• The ideal candidate must possess an Engineering Degree (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) along with construction office engineering experience preferably with MTA NYCT.
• A minimum of 5 years of REI and inspection experience.
• Construction Inspection experience is a plus.
• EIT is preferred
• Candidate's must have their OSHA 30, 4 Hour Scaffolding User and Track Training are required and the Asbestos and Lead Awareness, PMG123 and Blue Card are also required.
