The Research Technician, Neuroscience will be responsible for assisting scientists with experimental research, equipment maintenance, restocking of consumables and supplies, cell culture, tissue preparations, data analyses, communicating experimental results, and other research related duties as assigned.













Responsibilities









A day in the life of an Research Technician, Neuroscience at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

• Conduct laboratory research independently, with the oversight of the research faculty.
• Troubleshoot scientific equipment.
• Oversee lab record-keeping, data entry, and database organization and maintenance.
• Participate in the training and supervision of junior level technicians.
• Perform initial data analyses.
• Provide general research support for projects.
• Oversee daily research lab operations.
• Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

  Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training.
  • Individual must be able to work independently and have a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
