and empathetic people to join our team as Ophthalmic Techs. Our
Techs are responsible for all the pre-exam elements of the patient
visit. This includes gathering and documenting patient information
and history and conducting routine and ancillary patient testing.
Youll play a vital role in the patients experience with OCLI and in
helping our Drs to diagnose and treat eye disorders.OUR
EXPECTATIONS OF YOUYoull test and record patient's far acuity, near
acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color
perceptionYoull apply drops to anesthetize, dilate, or medicate
eyes and collect and process specimens for testingYoull triage
emergency cases appropriately into physicians schedule and maintain
patient flowYoull prepare patient and procedure room and assist
ophthalmologist with procedures as neededYoull perform first level
maintenance on equipment and notify the office manager of any
equipment malfunctionsYou will be expected to utilize, as
appropriate, infection control techniques and universal
precautions, and to maintain confidentiality at all timesWHAT

such as anesthetics, steroids, antibiotics, mydriatics and
cycloplegics, epinephrine, miotics and non-steroidal
anti-inflammatories is a PLUS, but not a requirementWhile
performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly
required to stand; walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must
occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.WHO WE AREOur
