Job OverviewAclara, a Hubbell company, is actively seeking
several Field Technicians to conduct local meter module exchanges.
This role involves the meticulous replacement and installation of
meter modules on residential and commercial properties, ensuring
precise utility usage tracking for a local utility.A Day In The
Life
- Collect necessary inventory from the warehouse and
strategically plan daily installation routes.
- Safely remove existing meter modules and efficiently install
new ones, ensuring they are correctly programmed and fully
operational.
- Utilize company-provided handheld devices to accurately record
installation data and ensure compliance with data integrity
standards.
- Achieve production targets as defined by local management,
maintaining high standards of work within scheduled timelines.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of technicians,
supervisors, and managers to ensure smooth operations and address
any on-site issues.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed to support team
and project requirements.What will help you thrive in this role?
- Valid Driver's License with the ability to reliably commute to
various job sites within the assigned territory.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating productivity and
professionalism.
- Thorough knowledge of standard safety procedures relevant to
