Our-- North American regional --sales --team is actively seeking a Sales Director to join our growing organization who will be responsible for creating and s ustaining Sales targeted towards Enterprise --customers . Sales Directors at 128 Techn ology are highly motivated and independent and aren't afraid to sell innovative products to challenging customers. The role requires excellent customer service-- skills and --involves negotiating contracts. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for developing account plans and sales goal attainment for the Enterprise market segment and engaging the contract companies that provide solution integration services.
  • A cquire new customers from calling into high levels within prospect organizations, networking and various customer account lists.
  • Leverage knowledge and relationships in the industry to identify and qualify opportunities, contract vehicles, and strategic partners for 128-- T echnology products and services.---
  • Provide executive level presentations and engage t he --technical sales team as needed to support customer engagements.
  • Participate in campaigns, conferences, work with the marketing team to understand new offerings and leads in assigned responsibilities, generate leads independently and follow-up as appropriate.
  • Take initiative to learn new offers and products, as they become available. Able to apply technology knowledge in business development efforts
  • C onsult with clients to determine their needs and work with-- Sales-- Engineering to generate multi-product/service solutions. Develops and manages relationships with current clients to develop additional business as well as ensure a high level of client satisfaction
  • Capture activity information in CRM on a timely basis as client interactions occur to insure accurate product and services forecasting
  • Travel to customer sites as required. QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
    • 10+ years of experience selling to the Enterprise and/or Managed Service Provider market.
    • 10+ years selling experience with telecom or other technology products and solutions such as Cisco, EMC (Storage), VMware, NetApp, Oracle and managed services.
    • Advanced selling skills with a demonstrated track record of selling into complex organizations with multiple layers of decision makers. Market knowledge (i.e. industry knowledge relevant to geographic area) and technical knowledge are necessary
    • Experience with negotiating partnerships with major contract companies resulting in deployments of IP networking solutions
    • Must possess business experience to analyze client business requirements and develop creative solutions as well as utilize technical resources to complete an accurate and technically assured sales order.
    • Exceptional communication skills
    • Ability to accept constructive criticism; and ability to maintain and develop positive team cohesiveness
