In this role, you will be responsible for developing business relationships and growing annual revenue with our mid-market customers. You are passionate about the events industry, and see technology transforming not only the way we meet, but the way we work. You are a highly motivated individual, driven by exceeding metrics for success. You thrive in a team environment but are also successful in a remote one as well. You have successfully worked in an a fast-paced environment, where change is constant. Ideally, you have 2-3 years selling in another technology company. What You'll Do: We need someone that can effectively engage with our clients and build meaningful relationships, create loyalty, and convert opportunities into business. As an Account Executive, Virtual Sales you will:

  • Be an expert on the Convene Virtual Platform. You will be able to articulately describe the platform features and translate that into functionality to solution for your clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, both in group and individual environmentsPresent with polish. Whether in person or virtually, your sales presence should be engaging, approachable and build instant rapport.
  • Grow revenue and opportunities by uncovering and networking various business units throughout your mid-market accounts
  • Keep your client base up to date on all product releases and launches
  • Know your competition and successfully articulate the Convene story and how we differentiate.
  • Own the client experience from initial opportunity through to contract, as well as post event.
  • Work closely with our Implementation, Virtual Event Producers and technical directors to ensure all event details are communicated and your client's event(s) is set up for success What We Look For:
    • College Degree Required BS/BA
    • Minimum 3 years Sales experience in a technology company
    • The ability to maintain attention to detail in an ever changing, fast paced environment
    • Effective communication skills - both written and verbal
