Artsy's mission is to expand the art market to support more artists and art in the world. Artsy has created the world's largest two-sided art marketplace, with more than 1,000,000 works by 100,000 artists from 4,000 of the world's leading galleries, auction houses, art fairs, and institutions across 190 countries. Artsy is looking for a Sales Coordinator to support our quickly expanding Marketplace on each of our three teams (gallery partners, fairs, or secondary market teams). This is a 6 month, part-time (25 hours per week) role, based in New York. The "Small-Medium Business" (SMB) team manages Artsy's small and mid sized gallery partners. The Fairs team manages partnerships and relationships with the world's top fairs and other strategic partners (eg. gallery weekends, associations, biennials). The secondary market team aims to create more liquidity in the market by enabling collectors and dealers to sell their collection.-- As a Sales Coordinator, you play a key role in supporting one of the above mentioned teams achieve their quarterly goals. You will provide excellent administrative assistance, learn the ins and outs of the business, and understand what it means to be a successful sales person.-- Key Responsibilities:--

  • Inbox management and email support for external inquiries
  • Schedule and coordinate with partners and clients
  • Send and track marketing outreach
  • Data management and creating digital assets
  • Conduct research and call partners as needed Candidate Qualifications:--
    • Experience in a customer facing role and interest in a career in sales
    • Comfort operating independently in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong project management skills; experiencing managing multiple projects concurrently
