Job Description:
Job Description Oscar Product is a growing, fast-paced team
using technology and design to revolutionize healthcare. Our work
on tech spans several areas: building innovative consumer
experiences, technology and infrastructure, expanding into new
markets, creating better ways for healthcare providers to interact
with patients, and optimizing internal operations and processes. We
work alongside a talented set of technologists with Product,
Engineering, and Design to form a tight-knit, high-performing team.
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in
defining product strategy for our growing Oscar business. In this
role, you'll join our Core Platform product area and developing a
roadmap for our foundational B2B and SaaS capabilities. You'll
partner closely with teams across the organization including
business and operations, strategy, legal and more to identify
high-impact opportunities and execute the shared vision. You will
report to a Director of Product. This is a hybrid role. You will
work part of the time in the New York City office and part of the
time work-from-home/remote. LI-Hybrid Requirements: 4 years of
product experience. Comfortable with complex systems. You know how
to analyze and decompose a complex system into its member parts,
and how to communicate that complexity simply and cleanly. Highly
collaborative. You love being the bridge between tech teams and
business teams. You see problems from both business and tech
perspectives and adeptly drive alignment across multiple teams. A
quick study. Healthcare is complicated; you're curious by nature
and excited to get into the details and become an expert in health
insurance infrastructure, from how claims are processed to how
payments flow through the healthcare system. Strategic and
analytical. You can turn new, vague ideas into implementable
projects and identify new opportunities that move the needle. You
use qualitative and quantitative insights to clarify decisions
wherever possible. An end-to-end thinker. You can look at a problem
and create a solution all the way from top-level goals to smaller
operational and system details. Great at prioritizing. There are a
million ways to make the healthcare experience better. You zero in
on the highest impact levers and hold your team accountable for
doing the same. Above all: you are mature, open-minded, and nice.
(No jerks allowed) Responsibilities: Helping to define the vision
and strategy for a set of roadmaps. Defining KPIs and incorporating
qualitative and quantitative insights into day-to-day
decision-making as well as strategy evolution. Collaborating with
Engineering, Design, and Product leadership to make organizational
and staffing decisions, motivate and empower your teams, and refine
cross-functional processes. This is an authentic Oscar Health job
opportunity. Learn more about how you can safeguard yourself from
