Our headquarters is in Port Washington, NY and our mission is to lead digital transformation through continuous innovation and advanced technology solutions.Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented, and aggressive VP of Sales with a desire for success as part of our sales strategy. This position will operate out of our Port Washington, NY Headquarters. The VP of Sales will be responsible for the following job responsibilities listed below. Overall, an IT sales VP plays a critical role in driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the organization's sales strategies align with market demands and business objectives.ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy and Planning: The VP develops and implements the overall sales strategy, including setting sales targets, defining market segments, identifying potential clients, and determining pricing and positioning strategies.Team Management: They lead and manage the IT sales team, including sales managers, account executives, and sales representatives. This involves setting performance goals, providing coaching, and training, and evaluating individual and team performance.Business Development: The VP identifies new business opportunities and markets, evaluates potential partnerships and alliances, and oversees the development and execution of business development plans.Customer Relationship Management: They establish and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns. They also collaborate with other departments, such as customer support and product development, to ensure alignment and customer-centricity.Sales Forecasting and Reporting: The VP analyzes market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to forecast future sales and revenue. They provide regular reports and updates to senior management regarding sales performance, market conditions, and competitive landscape.Sales Process Improvement: They continuously evaluate and improve the sales processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This may include implementing CRM systems, sales automation tools, and other technologies to streamline sales operations.Collaboration and Communication: The VP collaborates with other departments, such as marketing, product management, and finance, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. They also communicate with executives and stakeholders, providing updates on sales initiatives, performance, and market trends.Industry Knowledge and Market Analysis: They stay updated on the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape. This includes monitoring competitors, attending industry conferences, and conducting market research to identify opportunities and stay ahead of market changes.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsProven track record of success in sales leadership roles within the IT manage services, digital transformation services, or technology industry4-year college degree - computer science or business management degree is preferred10+ years of experience in a direct sales role, with no less than 5 years of experience working in a leadership role.Exceptional sales performance history (quota achievement, forecasting, etc.) that can be confirmed through documentation and references who will validate record of success and level of contribution.Ability to maintain strong internal and external networks; leveraging relationships to prospect and close new business Highly competitive and self-motivated with the ability to deliver results quickly.Skilled delivery of engaging, compelling sales and product presentations, in small and large group settings.Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation and executive presence skills.Team playerTo Help You SucceedCompetitive base compensation plan with bonus and commission potentialFull service and support teamComprehensive benefits, including Health/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance, and a 401(k)16 paid days off per year and 10 paid holidays per yearProfessional sales environment with opportunities for advancement based on performance.Equal Employment OpportunityAgilant Solutions, Inc is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
