Job DescriptionPosition OverviewAlign seeks a sales professional with proven high-level expertise in driving IT Managed Services business and revenue growth. Qualified candidates will have a successful track record selling managed services and cloud offerings to commercial level accounts and mid-size companies. Exceptional written, verbal and client service skills are essential. Successful candidates must be able to build relationships at the highest levels of organizations along with building technical champions at the middle level management and user levels.The Position will be based out of our New York City office with travel up to 25%This is a full-time position offering full benefits, a competitive salary, paid training and a lucrative commission structure.ResponsibilitiesCreate new revenue opportunities by selling Align's managedservices offerings to new clients – Cloud Services, Colocation Services, End User IT Support, IT Operations and Scalable ResourcingGenerate sales leads, qualify opportunities, manage the RFP process, and close businessResponsible for partnering with the Solution Director to develop sales targets, maintain an accurate forecast and hit quarterly quotas which have been mutually agreed uponPartner with the Align technical teams to develop and implement account infiltration strategiesDrive recurring revenue with high margin product and managed / cloud servicesMaintain overall client satisfactionBuild strong relationships with clients that will drive revenue opportunitiesCollaborate with partners and other solutions within Align to capture new accounts / opportunities when it makes business sense and results in tangible revenueResponsible for knowing the "Align Story" and carrying that message with a passionEstablish relationships at all organizational levels and obtain "Trusted Advisor" status with clientsTake ownership of personal education across a wide variety of products / servicesAbility to leverage Align senior management and SMEs when appropriateInclusively work with cross functional teams across multiple Align disciplinesMaintain and updating CRM data for assigned accountsAttend weekly sales meetingsRapidly assimilate knowledge of best industry trends/practices/services/technologies in order to drive enhanced revenue opportunitiesQualificationsAt least 5 years of relevant experience selling information technology product / services solutions in the New York market, ideally in the IT Infrastructure / Data Center SpaceMinimally 2 years of experience selling IT Professional Services, ideally IT infrastructure managed servicesSome prior experience working for systems integrators, value-added resellers (VAR) or technology consulting organizations is strongly preferredA relevant professional network / book of business to sell Enterprise, Commercial and SMB IT Infrastructure SolutionsAbility to quickly identify client's technical needs and how that relates to business goals / requirementsExperience selling hosted cloud services including IaaS, BaaS, application hosting and disaster recovery solutionsExcellent verbal, written, interpersonal and client service skillsStrong presentation and white-boarding skillsClient-focused with the ability to influence others to achieve resultsCompany DescriptionFor over 30 years, many of the world's leading firms have relied on Align as a trusted IT solution provider and center of excellence in IT advisory, infrastructure design, build, delivery and managed services.
