Job DescriptionSALES DEVELOPMENT SPECIALISTWith a mastery of people skills, this position will build on a 40 year legacy of transforming vision, effective process change, cutting technology tools, ethical practices, personal integrity, that builds trust with Profit By Design's valuable clients. The Sales Development Specialist will be an ambassador for Profit By Design, developing sales strategies for new accounts, create innovative ways to reach potential business, and enhance relationships with existing New, Used, and OEM clients. Work collaboratively with Profit By Design management team to master best practices, contribute to continuous improvement, support initiatives, lead marketing/sales efforts and acquire new business. Rapidly assess, assimilate, and develop customized plans that meet the cultural, financial, and organizational needs of organizations. Leverage existing best practices, and develop new ones, to become an effective change agent and advocate for client goals. Mastery of communication, relaying the vital importance and potential of Profit By Designs consulting, systems, strategies, and income development services. Each member of the Profit By Design team owns their responsibilities to deliver daily world class results and to set the bar for the industry.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:· Must be fearless in executing "cold calls" of new and used car dealership prospects to sign new dealership accounts· Maximize travel and networking opportunities to develop new leads· Responsible for proactively pursuing new business accounts and confidently compete everyday in a highly competitive environment· Pitching products and/or services to prospective new and used car dealerships and automotive OEMs· Lead the design, development and deployment of all new marketing programs for our perspective automotive dealership clients· Research organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets· Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings· Developing quotes and proposals· Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays and planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives· Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about signing up new dealership vendorsDevelop and implement high impact sales development strategiesIdentify, research and implement best practices, solutions and technologies to drive organizational performanceProvide strategic direction, day-to-day guidance and holds staff accountable for achieving resultsDaily reporting on progress, plans, strategies, projections.Manage and monitor key organizational financial indicators including, but not limited to assigned budget and LBE'sWORK EXPERIENCE:· A Big Differentiator is your experience in Dealership Sales Management and successful execution of dealership sales team goals· An ideal candidate will be a seasoned F&I veteran with years of genuine "in the trenches" dealership experience· A history of overcoming challenges, developing everything necessary to succeed, and anticipating the needs of the client· Deep "hands on" presentation in sales process to "Profit by Design" team members and all dealership client's sales team members· Must have automotive retail experience in all areas of Sales Process with High Concentration in F&I Product Sales and Process.· Must have deep expertise around Industry Best Practices in Customer Satisfaction.· Must have experience and strong knowledge of dealership CRM in both "On and Off Line" steps to Vehicle Sales.· Experience developing strategies that grow business, locally, regionally, and nationallyTrack record in designing and executing successful automotive training and sales initiatives.Superb communication and leadership skillsExcellent time management skillsSolid understanding to customized training plans for any part of sales process training (CRM, Road to Sale, Desking & F&I Menu presentation)Solid understanding of computer skills required including power point & excelAble to communicate effectively in high-pressure situations in person, on phone, with a group, webinars etc.Ability to monitor sales funnel and life-cycleCSI skill set…able to build client loyaltyPrevious experience in managing a large teamFinancial budgeting experience requiredVendor/supplier management requiredStrong business acumen and stakeholder management skillsTrack record of leading an organizations in both corporate and field based environmentsPREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE:Training certificationsExperience working in dealership environment, specifically F&IExperience with social media and innovative technology in designing learning solutionsPREFERRED EDUCATION:Master's DegreeCOMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:Must have excellent oral and written communication skillsPosting Location(s): MID-ATLANTIC STATES, USAJob Family/Function: Automotive F&IRelocation Offered: NoEducation Requirements: Bachelors DegreeTravel Requirements: Up to 50%Employment Experience Requirements: 10+ years of experienceProfit By Design employees power our progress through their performance.We want your work at Profit By Design to be more than a job – we want it to be a fulfilling experience where you find challenging and rewarding opportunities, respect among colleagues, competitive pay, benefits that protect you and your family, and a high performance culture that recognizes and values your contributions and helps you reach your career goals.We proudly support and encourage U.S. Veterans to apply for Profit By Design job opportunities.NOTE: Please do not apply if you do not have 5+ years of automotive retail experience.Company DescriptionSince 1983, Profit By Design has grown from a regional, to a national F&I training, income development, and product agency.
