Job Description:

Manages and expands business relationships with targeted prospects and large clients; Develops and implements strategy, sales plan, and forecasts for overall business development, sales, and account management.

Sales and Marketing Strategy

  • Set aggressive sales targets; coordinate with Digital Marketing and Content Manager to ensure marketing efforts deliver against sales and brand objectives.
    • Develop and implement a sales action plan with objectives and strategies to increase revenue and aggressively acquire new accounts
      • Consistently identify revenue opportunities within Levy's established client journey and manage consistent growth within particular client base
        • Manage the preparation and implementation of sales and business development plans, sales forecasts and strategies.
        • Understand prospective client's culture, product portfolio, competitive position, financial state, organization structure and key decision makers.
        • Use information about competitors strengths, weaknesses, and pricing to develop a competitive edge for Levy NYC.

          Team Management
          • Oversee sales and marketing account managers and support staff, provide ongoing training and ensuring they consistently perform above standard
            • Hold weekly accountability meetings with each Account Manager to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and presents possible solutions for difficult accounts or indecisive clients
              • Maintain team culture across the sales and marketing department.
              • Provide training to the Levy team to ensure there is brand alignment across all products and services
                Client Relations
                • Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed; prepare post-event reports and analysis.
                  • Develop customer relations including but not limited to sales leads, research, cold calling, qualifying leads, developing leads, and customer service.
                    • Actively develop and maintain relationships with middle and high end clients to meet specified goals.
                      Coordination
                      • Work with production team and account managers to develop client packages
                      • Function as liaison between client companies and production staff.
                      • Work with the head of production to make sure that the execution plan meets the client's design goals
                      • Perform other related duties as assigned by Executive Director.
                      • Oversee the design execution of all the elements of an event
                        QUALIFICATIONS:
                        • Bachelor's degree (B.A.)
                          • Four to six years sales management experience in the events industry
                            • Ability to create sales action plans and measure milestones
                              • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
                                • Moderate marketing experience.
                                  • Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
                                    • Well-developed negotiation, project and account management skills.
                                      • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization
                                          • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
                                            • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
                                              • Ability to work with all levels of management.
                                                • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
                                                  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
                                                    • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
                                                      • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
                                                        • Strong interpersonal skills.
                                                          • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
                                                            • Proficient on any industry CRMs
                                                              SALARY: $75,000 + Commission
