The Sales Planner is a strategic partner to our Senior Director of Sales and plays a key role in supporting the Senior Director of Sales and our Premion Direct Sales Team. This team member is integral in helping the sales team to maximize sales opportunities and provide clients with timely solutions. This individual will have a passion for marketing and advertising sales, closely aligning with other sales team members and cross functional departments within Premion. This position requires strong communication skills and attention to detail, in a faced paced sales environment.-- Major Duties and Responsibilities: A primary responsibility of this position will be the development of categories / sales--contacts / leads--with--regional / national--accounts in partnership with the Regional Sales team.--Focus on clients and agencies based in NY, LA, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, San Fran, Miami, etc... Perform market research on the OTT competitive landscape in partnership with the marketing team. Secure new business meetings with decision makers for Regional Sales Directors.-- This position provides end to end workflow support and acts as point of contact for House accounts Proactively pull information for Client Needs Analysis and works with Senior Director and Sales Team to understand clients' marketing objectives, utilizing Kantar, Media Monitors, Nielsen, Premion's proprietary DMP information and other research metrics to make recommendations-- Coordinate with Marketing for client presentations and campaign recap materials.-- Create presentations that can be delivered as complete solutions achieving client's needs; partner with Marketing to pull information to tell the appropriate story to clients Monitor and audit accuracy of order entry through delivery to provide process analysis in tandem with Account Management Work cross functionally with Pre-sales and Post-Sales teams to ensure fulfillment of client campaigns and overarching agency agreements are met Communicate with clients as needed to gain information to run schedules efficiently Input and development of CRM database Meet consistently with internal and external teams to manage timelines, assets, progress, and client deliverables Assist Regional Sales Directors in special projects as assigned Job Requirements Requirements: A self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-moving start-up environment and managing constant change Adept at lead generation and securing meetings with decision makers at major--agencies / advertisers Ability to effectively solve problems and identify opportunities Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects effectively in a--time sensitive--environment Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organization and time management 1+ years of experience in media with working knowledge of linear television, digital products, and advanced advertising products is a plus Previous experience in an Ad Agency, and/or supporting an Ad Sales team is highly preferred Clear knowledge of media terms as well as media formulas & calculations preferred Experience and strong knowledge of research databases, tools and applications, including (but not limited to) Nielsen, Scarborough, Kantar, BIA/Kelsey, and eMarketer are helpful Proficient in computer software including MS Office and Spreadsheets at a minimum is required; experience using Salesforce and Wide Orbit or similar platform is extremely helpful Strong data entry skills and an excellent attention to details is required. Ability to develop positive working relationships with Sales team members and other support functions is critical Ability to back-up work and have good logic Bachelor's degree (B.
