York, NY (with travel across Lantern sites) Status & Hours:
Full-time. Hours may vary. Lantern staff may be asked to change
work schedule and hours depending on the operational needs of the
site and the agency. Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 salary Who We

work with people who care! Where You Will Work: This role is based
primarily at Lantern’s headquarters in Manhattan and supports
multiple program sites. Occasional local travel may be required to
support off-site or community-based events. About the Role The
Quality Improvement & Data Systems Manager supports agency-wide
quality assurance, performance improvement, and data systems across
Supportive Housing and Shelter programs. This role ensures
regulatory compliance, data integrity, and strong program outcomes
through audits, analysis, and staff support. Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with
disabilities to perform the essential functions. Conduct internal
quality assurance and compliance audits across Supportive Housing
and Shelter programs. Support preparation for external audits,
evaluations, and site visits. Develop, implement, and monitor
quality improvement plans with program staff. Analyze program data
to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Administer and support agency and funder data systems, including
reporting and dashboards. Ensure data integrity through routine
audits, chart reviews, and quality checks. Provide onboarding,
training, and ongoing technical assistance on data systems.
Collaborate with leadership on performance dashboards, evaluations,
and strategic initiatives. Conduct routine site visits to support
compliance and program effectiveness. Required Education and
Experience Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of three years of
experience in quality improvement, program evaluation, data
reporting, or human services operations. Proficiency in Microsoft
Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills. Strong
analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability
to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment. Ability to travel within the five boroughs of New York
City. Preferred Experience Experience working with vulnerable or
at-risk populations. Experience using HMIS and other human services
data systems. Experience working with NYC, NYS, or federal
government agencies. Work Environment: This position operates in an
office setting, with regular visits to supportive housing and
shelter sites that serves population who may experience mental
illness, substance use, disability, HIV/AIDS, and other chronic
illnesses. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this
job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop,
climb stairs, and/ or kneel. Occasionally, the employee will have
to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Note: Lantern Community
