Part-Time (Onsite) Practice Setting: Primary Care & Multi-Specialty
Outpatient Schedule: Flexible | Up to 16 hours per week | No
On-Call Job Summary: A well-established primary care and
multi-specialty outpatient practice is seeking a Part-Time
Neurologist to join its growing neurology services in Queens, NY.
This role offers schedule flexibility and the opportunity to
provide high-quality neurological care within a collaborative,
patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct
comprehensive neurological evaluations, including history,
physical, and mental status exams - Diagnose and manage
neurological conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, migraines,
dementia, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis - Order and
interpret diagnostic studies including EEG, EMG, MRI, and CT scans
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans - Prescribe
medications and recommend therapeutic interventions - Educate
patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and
prognosis - Collaborate with primary care providers and specialty
colleagues to ensure coordinated care - Maintain accurate
documentation in the EMR - Stay current with evidence-based
neurology practices and continuing education Qualifications: - MD
or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency -
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology (preferred) -
Minimum 5 years of clinical neurology experience preferred - Active
New York medical license or ability to obtain - Strong diagnostic,
communication, and patient management skills - Ability to work
independently and collaboratively in an outpatient setting
