A mission-driven nonprofit organization is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee overall operations and day-to-day activities. This senior leadership role works closely with founders to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission, values, and governance standards. Responsibilities Include: Oversee day-to-day operations across the organization Manage staff and provide leadership, direction, and accountability Build, improve, and maintain operational processes and systems Ensure appropriate oversight, controls, and governance standards Partner closely with founders on strategy and execution Support a positive, values-based organizational culture Identify operational gaps and implement improvements Ideal Qualifications: Strong leadership and people-management skills Mission-driven and values-aligned mindset Proven ability to manage complex operations Smart, proactive, and highly organized Able to quickly learn and strengthen systems and processes Experience in nonprofit or special needs environments is a plus Salary: $100k - $150k/Year To apply, please send your resume to Yosef@bhirednyc.com
