SEIs Asset Management Unit is launching a new dedicated
Enterprise Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) Sales & Experience
Team designed to accelerate existing business growth in the
upper-level RIA market->$5 Billion. To support this launch, SEI
has immediate need for a Relationship Development Director within
the Enterprise RIA Sales team. This role reports to the Enterprise
RIA Leader within the Asset Management unit. You will be
responsible for meeting and exceeding territory growth goals and
overseeing the totality of the client experience across business
development, relationship management, account management, and
service and operational experience for advisor-client firms in the
Enterprise RIA channel. You must be adept at using data to drive
decisions, while defining opportunities for growth and solving
client and potential-client needs; and also be the champion for the
overall deployment of SEI’s solutions across our entire ecosystem
which consists of: Custody Wealth Tech Investment Management
Alternatives UMH/UMA What you will do: The Relationship Development
Director will be a main lead individual in territory management and
growth for advisor-client firms on the Enterprise RIA Sales &
Experience Team. Work in coordination and collaboration with
partner Enterprise RIA Leader to drive territory strategy planning
and communicate daily with that partner on tasks key to influencing
growth and relationship management within client and
prospective-client firms. Analyze market data, trends, consumer
preferences, and competitor behavior to optimize client and
territory growth, and deliver on growth and retention KPI metrics
as defined. Shape and implement complex, diverse and collaborative
sales growth agendas, with a focus on motivating
prospective-clients to embrace change and convert business.Lead the
development and execution efforts to drive the values and vision.of
SEI, beginning with a client first commitment. Generate new
interest and prospective-client leads—constantly staying ahead of
new opportunities—while also managing the development of inorganic
leads through the sales process. What we need from you: The ideal
candidate has a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in
financial services client sales and service support, with direct
experience in RIA channel sales strongly preferred. BA/BS Required
Current NASD Series 7, 63 and 65 or Series 66 license or ability to
obtain within 90 days. Strong knowledge of RIA custody and
technology platforms as well as direct experience in influencing
business owners in this channel and delivering both technology and
business-centric advice and influence. Significant network of
contacts and relationships with upper market Enterprise RIA firms.
Experience and understanding of requirements of third party
distribution platform partners within in the Financial Advisor
industry. Significant relationships with these partners. Ability to
influence decision-making at the highest levels of an organization,
while executing with a client-first mindset, and an established
background in consultative sales. Proven ability in territory
management—both in strategic planning, execution, and travel—with
exceptional time-management, organizational and coaching skills,
plus the track record of exceeding goals. Excellent communicator
(in both the written and verbal form), both proactively and
reactively, with a track record in client relationship management
and buyer satisfaction. A self-starter and an influencer, with a
track record of both working independently and within a team. This
